update

Since I'm leaving town tomorrow and will be unable to give updates for about a week - here are some to tide you over until I get back! Training is going well. Last night I convinced my husband to walk with me to the Potomac River and back (about 8 miles). It was so enjoyable! The weather in Alexandria has been beautiful (nice and cool to make my family in Texas jealous) which made the walk incredibly pleasant. Fundraising is also going well. I have hit my half-way point which was an exciting milestone on that little thermometer! I love opening my personal page to see that my crazy little thermometer has risen. If you don't know what I'm talking about then you should check out our personal pages! See our links on the right. I'm packed and ready for the Smokies and kind of surprised by how much I'm looking forward to the training aspect of hiking those mountains! Certainly a week of hiking mountains will make walking pavement a little easy upon my return... right? Thanks to everyone for the ongoing support! Cinnamon and I are so excited and looking forward to the big 3DAY event.
Only 106 more days!
